It’s not often that I get a text at 2:20am in the morning. (No, really; I’m not that kind of guy.) Particularly one that says this:

Aside from apparently becoming the Claire Rayner of musical angst, I nevertheless found this quite pleasing and immediately whizzed off to find out who this “Tesla boy” bunch were. They seem to be Russian, and have a 5-track EP of which “Neon Love” is part. It’s pretty ace, too – the overall aura is that of The Knife being wrapped in a large woollen tea-cosy. I recommend you try them out.
And so, the two sleep-deprived electro-boppers texted away into the night…
Good stuff… it’s the audio equivalent of swimming in a meditatively melancholy Tron aquarium!

yeah, poor guy. A russian band – of all things .. Good luck to you it aint one of the usual “techno-i-can-press-three-keys-with-my-fingers” bands, as they usually like ‘em.
(my former girlfriend’s parents indeed DO own a videotape of this horrilble stuff .. dumber than the dumbest dancefloor shit out of the 90s).
