Back in the mists of time, I came into possession of an old 12″ called Goin’ Steady. The K-Tel era compilation of random tracks from the 50s and 60s was rounded off by the lovely Theme From A Summer Place by Percy Faith and his orchestra. I’ve embedded a YouTube version here; I’ve gone for my favourite slower, recorded version rather than the live 1960 version or the bizarre 1976 waka-waka disco version.
